Resilience training for nurses

Resilience is defined as “the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress”.  A recent meta-analysis by Zhai et al (2021) sought to better understand changes in resilience in nurses following resilience training.  The results indicated improvements in resilience scores and mindfulness from preintervention to postintervention, while stress levels, burnout, anxiety and depression and negative affect scores all decreased.  Read more…
