HPCO hosted the Inaugural Dragons’ Den Symposium: Innovation in Advance Care Planning and Goals of Care Implementation, on Monday, March 22, 2021.
This virtual, interdisciplinary symposium was free to attend and featured current work in Advance Care Planning, Goals of Care, and Health Care Consent implementation across Ontario. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with healthcare providers and experts across sectors, hear about current Person-Centred Decision-Making implementation work, learn about Ontario compliant Advance Care Planning, Goals of Care, and Health Care Consent resources and tools, and share knowledge on current and emerging work in the field.
Clinicians and health care providers from acute care, primary care, long term care, and community care were invited to pitch their projects in the showcase. There were a total of 10 pitches presented with two winners being crowned.
