Hospice Palliative Care Ontario is hosting a free webinar on Complex Medico-Legal Issues at End of Life! The session is taking place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This webinar will look at some of the more complex medico-legal issues relating to end of life, including compliance with competent wishes, role of the Public Guardian and Trustee as substitute decision-maker, issues related to palliative care during time of COVID. This webinar is supported by funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and will be offered at no cost to participants.
This session is intended for Health care providers, social workers, LHIN workers, risk management professionals, ethicists, and hospital administration.
