October 31, 2013, MP Charlie Angus introduced Private Members Motion M-456 calling on the federal government to establish a Pan-Canadian palliative and end-of-life care strategy in conjunction with provinces and territories on a flexible and integrated model of palliative care. The motion was seconded by MPs from both the Conservative and Liberal parties.
Access to quality hospice palliative care for all Canadians is a non-partisan issues that touches everyone. Raising the awareness of parliamentarians and Canadians in general is always welcome by our sector.
